Karen Bassett is the Director of Client Relationship at NEST, where she leads the Client Relationship Team and oversees the overall health and success of client partnerships. With a hands-on approach, she manages escalations, mentors her team, and works directly with clients to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Karen joined NEST in 2001 as a part-time receptionist and has since built a 25+ year career with the company, growing through multiple roles and departments. Her experience has shaped deep expertise in trade operations and client service, making her a trusted leader within the organization.

Known for her supportive, strategic, and empowering leadership style, Karen is committed to developing her team while driving strong client outcomes. She takes pride in turning around challenging client relationships, building trust through transparency, collaboration, and results.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies whenever she can. She has also volunteered at a local animal shelter and hopes to do more of that in the future, though she jokes it might be dangerous, as she’d likely come home with too many animals.
