On Friday, May 4th, NEST will support the Erivan K. Haub School of Business bi-annual Business Policy Competition. Student teams from the HSB undergraduate capstone course, Business Policy, will showcase their work and compete to determine the best presentation of a strategic plan. The teams will present their plans to a distinguished panel of business executives. NEST has supported the prestigious competition since the Fall of 2014.
Saint Joseph’s University offers Business Policy as a mandatory capstone course which integrates the various functions of business in the development and implementation of business strategy. Throughout the semester undergraduate students examine cases involving policy formulation and decision making using an integrative approach across the following disciplines; Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing. Students from each class compete for a chance to present their proposed business plan to top industry executives.
