NEST International is proud to participate in MuckFest MS Philadelphia 5K Mud and Fun Run. To help support this amazing event, NEST employees have endeavored to fundraise in the office as well as run the race. To date, more than $4,200 has been donated by employees through fun team activities, exceeding the original goal of $1,000. 100 percent of the fundraising dollars will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
In addition to fundraising efforts, employees at NEST International have formed a team for the MuckFest, led by President Kellie D’Andrea “I’m excited to see what the MuckFest brings this year,” said D’Andrea. “We know it will be a messy day, but it is for a terrific cause!” Also participating are more than 30 additional employees from various departments within NEST, along with their friends and family members.
MuckFest MS Philadelphia will be held on the Ellis Reserve in Newtown Square on May 31 and June 1, 2014. The event rallies participants for a mucky romp through mud and obstacles in support of a world free of multiple sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic and often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. MS is unpredictable and affects every individual differently. All of the funds raised by MuckFest Philadelphia benefit the National MS Society. For more information visit http://main.nationalmssociety.org.
