CEO Rob Almond Hopes to Raise More Than $10,000 Again This Year
NEST employees and their families proudly participated in MuckFest MS Philadelphia 5K Mud and Fun Run again last month. NEST employees have endeavored to fundraise in the office as well, to date raising more than $5,280. Their goal is to donate $10,000 in 2015 with both small office morale boosters and nationally organized fundraisers. 100 percent of the fundraising dollars will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Team NEST was led by CEO Rob Almond, Jr. “We had a great time at MuckFest again this year, “said Almond. “Leave it to NESTers to get ‘dirty’ for a terrific cause. We’re never afraid to dig in and go to work!”
MuckFest MS Philadelphia was held on the Ellis Reserve in Newtown Square on May 31, 2015. The event rallied participants for a mucky romp through mud and obstacles in support of a world free of multiple sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic and often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. MS is unpredictable and affects every individual differently. All of the funds raised by MuckFest Philadelphia benefit the National MS Society. For more information visit http://main.nationalmssociety.org.
The next major fundraising event will be the City to Shore Bike Ride October 3 and 4, 2015. More than 7,000 cyclists of all ages and cycling abilities will ride for the cure through quaint towns and back roads of Southern New Jersey. NESTers and their families will pedal through the blueberry fields of Hammonton, experience the serene beauty of the Pine Barrens and listen to the waves as they roll into historic Ocean City.
