Gloucester City, NJ–On Friday, December 11th, NEST will support the Erivan K. Haub School of Business annual
business policy competition. This is the second consecutive year Rob Almond, CEO and former SJU MBA alum, has been a guest judge and sponsor of this competition.
NEST, a multi-facility management firm is an active member of the Saint Joseph’s University community, participating in events such as the spring and fall Career Fair, Business Policy Competition and EMBA CEO Intervention program.
“At NEST, we believe employees are the foundation of a successful business. Part of investing in business includes investing in future talent, and participating in the business policy competition allows us to have first exposure to some of the newest graduating recruits,” says Almond. We have numerous employees that are St. Joe’s graduates and most recently recruited a 2015 graduate from this past spring’s policy competition. Our involvement with St. Joseph’s University allows us to support the continuation of a great community of students and future business professionals.”
Saint Joseph’s University offers Business Policy as a mandatory capstone course which integrates the various functions of business in the development and implementation of business strategy. Throughout the semester undergraduate students examine cases involving policy formulation and decision making using an integrative approach across the following disciplines; Accounting, Finance, Management and Marketing. Students from each class compete for a chance to present their proposed business plan to top industry executives.
