Gloucester City, NJ–Since the beginning of the year, NEST made a fundraising commitment to the MS Society. After Team NEST successfully ran in MUCKFest, $4,500 was raised from this event alone. But both MS Society events and a variety of employee initiatives have allowed NEST to boast a total of $21,869.00 for this worthy cause. This exceeds a corporate goal of $20,000. But to keep the spirit going, employees, family and friends rode through South Jersey this past weekend as well.

“Team NEST never fails to impress me every year,” said CEO Rob Almond, Jr. “The MS Society is a charity that is near and dear to my heart. The support that I have seen from my team all year long is humbling and it was a great ride with a great group of people.”

The MS Society’s most recent athletic event was the Bike MS: City to Shore Ride that took place on September 24 and 25, 2016. More than 6,000 riders traveled from Cherry Hill to Ocean City, NJ in support of the cause. Named by Bicycling Magazine as the “Best Cycling Getaway in NJ” and “Best Area Charity Event” by Philadelphia Magazine, riders enjoyed flat terrain as they traveled through the quaint towns and back roads of Southern New Jersey and listened to the waves as they rolled into historic Ocean City.

14,000 people in the greater Philadelphia area are living with multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. NEST employees have made it their mission to help the local chapter of the MS Society. For more information about the MS Society, visit
