On Saturday, June 3rd, NEST continues their partnership with the MS Society by participating in Muck Fest MS Philadelphia. Muck Fest MS consists of a 5k mud run and obstacle course in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In addition to events like Muck Fest MS, NEST employees hold various fundraisers in the office with the hope of reaching their corporate goal of $20,000. To date, the NEST team has raised $6,987.45 to be donated directly to the cause.
“So far, we raised $3,200 for Muckfest. This is from the effort of 46 amazing NEST employees and their friends and family who signed up for the event,” says Rob Almond, CEO. “After we conquer Muckfest in June, our next challenge is the City to Shore Bike Ride for MS in September. Team NEST makes me proud every single year. There’s nothing like seeing your team push themselves for a great cause.”
The “MS” part of Muck Fest MS stands for multiple sclerosis, a chronic and often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. MS is unpredictable and affects every individual differently. Women are 2 to 3 times more likely to get MS, and it affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide. This is the reason we come together — to rally friends in support of people living with MS in our community. That’s why 100% of your donation benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
