Cesare’s role will focus on evolving business solutions and driving financial growth
NEST announced that Jason Cesare will join the company effective February 26, 2018 and will be named Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Cesare will oversee the company’s financial planning and reporting, accounting, investment strategies, tax and treasury functions.
“Jason is a financial executive with a successful 20-year track record of strengthening companies’ profitability and effectiveness,” said Rob Almond, Jr., CEO. “Our model has evolved into more of a financial product. As we continue to gain traction connecting with the C-Suite, Jason’s background in real estate, facilities, acquisitions and system implementations will be invaluable.”
Cesare joins NEST from Sneaker Villa, Inc. where he served as VP Finance, Planning and Analysis. Under his leadership, he was responsible for chain wide profitability for 125 stores and management of a merger transition that expanded the company footprint to 250 stores. Jason also held various positions including CFO for Robinson Luggage, Sr. Director of Finance & Operational Strategy for Spencer Gifts and Director of Finance/Real Estate for Charming Shoppes where he managed budget and monthly forecast with $350M of spending across 1,900 stores.
